Where are transcripts stored? Are they secure?

Transcripts and summaries are stored within Wyser ASSIST’s secure environment in UK or EEA data centres. They are processed on secure UK or EEA servers and delivered through secure API or download methods.

Wyser applies technical and organisational measures to protect customer data. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+ and stored using AES-256 encryption. Access is restricted through authenticated user accounts and role-based access controls.

Audio files are kept only for the minimum time needed to process them and for no more than 48 business hours. Transcripts and summaries are retained for the period agreed with the customer and for no more than 30 days.

Wyser processes personal data in line with UK GDPR. If data ever needs to be transferred to, or accessed from, a country outside the UK or EEA, this will only happen in line with applicable data protection law and the DPA.
