What rights do data subjects have?

The data controller remains responsible for responding to applicable data subject rights.

Depending on the circumstances and lawful basis, these may include rights relating to:

  • Erasure
  • Restriction
  • Objection

The DPA requires Wyser to provide appropriate assistance to the customer so that the customer can respond to requests from individuals exercising their rights.

The customer should therefore include ASSIST within its existing data subject rights procedures.
