Which third-party providers may Wyser use to deliver the Service, and how are they assessed and managed?
Data Protection and Sub-processors
This page explains when Wyser uses its own technology, when approved third-party providers may support the Service and how those providers are reviewed, contracted and listed under the Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
Quality sits at the heart of Wyser’s approach. Wherever possible, we develop and deploy our own models so we can retain close control over performance, privacy and reliability. However, we believe our clients deserve the best available technology and in some cases, that means leveraging specialist providers who lead in their respective fields.
Before any third-party provider is used in connection with the Service, Wyser reviews that provider through its internal assurance process. This review considers the provider’s role, the type of processing involved, security and data protection controls, and whether its use is appropriate for the Service.
Where a provider acts as a sub-processor, Wyser puts written terms in place that meet applicable data protection requirements. Wyser remains responsible for its sub-processors in line with the DPA. If Wyser appoints a new sub-processor, this Sub-processors page will be updated and customers will have the opportunity to object in line with the DPA. The current sub-processor list is set out below.
